Which one to use
Use the method whose app you already have and whose balance or account holds the money you set aside for the session. All three have the same RM5 minimum at MEGA63, and the methods shown can change by account, so check the list in your account before paying.
If you keep gaming money separate from your salary account, an e-wallet such as Touch ’n Go eWallet makes the separation easy: reload it with the session amount only. FPX and DuitNow draw on a bank account directly, so the limit has to come from you.
MEGA63 does not publish a crediting time for any method. DuitNow is designed as a real-time transfer, but a deposit is credited only after the account check; follow the status in your transaction record, and see payment methods if a deposit has not been credited.
How each one works
Touch ’n Go eWallet
You pay from the wallet balance inside the app, so the payment is approved with your wallet PIN or biometrics, and the wallet keeps a transaction record.
DuitNow
You send the transfer from your bank or e-wallet app to the recipient details or DuitNow QR code shown for that deposit; your app gives a reference number.
FPX
You choose your bank, sign in on the bank’s own page and approve the amount; the bank then returns you with the result, and the FPX receipt shows a transaction ID.
The MEGA63 steps for each are in the Touch ’n Go guide and the DuitNow guide.
Safety checks for all three
- Pay only to the details shown in your MEGA63 account for that deposit; never reuse an old receipt or details sent in a chat.
- Never share an online-banking password, TAC or e-wallet PIN with anyone, including someone who says they are from MEGA63.
- With FPX, check that the page address is your bank’s own before you sign in.
- Keep the reference number or transaction ID until the balance updates.
Common questions about Touch ’n Go, DuitNow and FPX
Is DuitNow the same as FPX?
No. Both are run by PayNet, but DuitNow is an instant transfer you send from your bank or e-wallet app, while FPX is a payment gateway that sends you to your bank’s online-banking page to approve the payment.
Can I pay with DuitNow from my Touch ’n Go eWallet?
Touch ’n Go eWallet supports DuitNow transfers, but at MEGA63 choose the method that matches how you pay and use the recipient details shown in your account for that deposit.
Which method is fastest?
MEGA63 does not publish a crediting time for any method. DuitNow is built as a real-time transfer, but every deposit is credited after the account check; the status shows in your transaction record.
What are the minimum deposit and withdrawal?
RM5 to deposit by any method, and RM50 to withdraw.
Which banks can I use?
MEGA63 lists Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank and RHB for bank transfer. With FPX, the bank list on the FPX step shows which banks are supported for that payment.
Before you deposit
Decide the amount before you choose the method: the method changes how you pay, not how much you can afford. The gambling budget calculator turns take-home pay into a monthly and per-session limit.
